No but you don't understand how much I love this guy.
I love your characters~! The concepts are all so unique and original, it's always a joy to read the little tidbits and see such great artwork. Is there perhaps a story or comic for them?

thanks so much, i get super happy when people are interested in my characters! if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
currently i don't have any comics or writing for them other than these developmental drawings/writings. I have an almost complete story in my head, but it's missing a few things and i want to understand how to create comics before i attempt creating the monster of a story i have in mind.

I don't mind questions!
I'm really glad my characters come across that way, I'm never sure if i'm accurately talking about them or not. God, I have many more characters as well.
Hons isn't effected by water per se. Though water might aid in pulling him apart, it wont actually hurt him unless it starts to boil or freeze. His body can pull apart, but every piece of him is 'alive' with the same mind. Each part will try to form back together, water might make this harder, but not to the point that he completely turns to mush. He's also can become quite dense, so he'd probably just make himself smaller and sink to the bottom.
Bastian is the brother of James. Both are psychotic sociopaths that work for a rogue agency in my story. They seek out self gratification and enjoyment. James enjoys killing and creating fear, while Bastian also enjoys that, but in a more thoughtful way.
Bastian is incredibly brilliant, able to create life and weapons with ease. The agency he works for has him do many things, one of which is find ways to kill other Reapers. Hons was one of his more elaborate attempts at creating a perfect reaper killer. Bastian had used slime creatures before, but none lasted long, either decaying early, getting eaten, or being too stupid to do anything correctly. Usually they just ended up being a meal for his brother. Hons, in a way, was exactly what he was suppose to be. He could mimic any form down to hair follicle placement based on a person's own personality. Any voice could be created, any species. He was perfect for infiltration when he wasn't hungry. Hons grew a personality Bastian started to quickly distaste, and he also soon realized that Hons took far too long to kill people. Though Hons had a record of only taking three days to completely gain the love and trust of and individual, then eat them, it was too long. So he decided it was time to scrap the sludge and make something new. Hons wasn't much for the idea when he heard whispers of it, and hightailed it straight the fuck out of there. Bastian lives for praise and constant reassurance that he's a genius. Hons just wasn't good enough, he could have something that wasn't top of the line in excellence. If he and his brother couldn't do something, he'd make something for them, whether it be a serum or a weapon. The prime reason why the brother's haven't attempted to kill each other is due to reliance. Bastian needs James as muscle he can count on to intimidate, and James needs a constant supply of serums to keep him beyond roided up.

i actually oddly enough need to make more!
a good way to sorta explain the kind of 'thing' he is is by comparing it to the movie 'the thing' where every part of the creature is alive and thing, but all the pieces work for a sentient goal. though Hons isn't anywhere near as deadly as the Thing was, or as parasitic.
He can form parts such as swords and blades, but they're much harder for him to create. It's another flaw that Bastian didn't think through at the time. Hons only knows the blueprints for organics and really only cares about organics, creating a weapon or a disguise of a non living thing, is incredibly hard for him since he really only has his imagination for that. He also isn't much for fighting to begin with, just really into manipulation.
Feeding off of hate and anger is one of the reason's Hons gets in so much trouble. Causing anger, hate, annoyance, is like junk food to Hons. It doesn't do much for his body, but he loves to eat it. He'll go on tangents of making fun of caretakers or passers bye when he's being walked around, making jokes about the things they enjoy or personal feelings. This usually will end in him going into a daze as he feeds and pisses people off until someone shoots him or causes him pain. Then he'll run, hide, and cry until people leave him alone. It's another flaw and something he absolutely hates about himself. Love and caring is a hearty meal in comparison that keeps him satisfied far longer. It's like being allergic to bee stings and then having the urge to poke a bees nest because you remembered they make tasty honey.
James and Bastian were driven insane, after that they lost all ability to care about morals or even that they're brothers. But being brothers on the same team is convenient. Having similar genetics helps when using test subjects. Bastian saved the most of his humanity out of the two, though that's not saying much, it's like saying three grains of rice is a larger amount than one grain of it. James has no one he cares about, he seeks for a day when there's nothing left alive in the universe except him. However Bastian can make good and actually friendly conversations with the Blood Nurse. No one is quite sure if Bastian's kindness stems from actual respect for Nurse, or if he's just terrified of her and can't actually experiment on her body. Either way, he has admiration for her cold and ruthless killing style.
