roots from the sky
draining the blood,
draining angel lives
veins of the rain
that feeds the ground

Reminds me of something out of the movie "The Ring". Very beautiful in a sort of dark creepy way.

This is an excellent job with creating a mood for the picture, with the darker tones.

so i dont know if you'll read this, but when i looked at that i immediatly typed what came into my head, because that photo is simply stunning
and this is what i wrote
This landscapes become brittle, old and gray. As the days pass by it makes me even more sad inside just staring off towards the empty mountains. Sitting thinking to myself, its always thoughts of "is this the end?", is it? I would hope not. One day the grass will grow again, and it wont look so worn and tired. The trees will grow new leaves, and it will be a new day, and hopefully small little houses spring up along the hillside. Perfect white churches not knowing of the aformentioned death of the land. It seemed just as though one day waking up everything was barren and lost. Persephone never came back to this part of earth and left everything to wilt and waste away. The clouds are never white, and sky never blue. Its always just a black looming weary feeling. Always leaving you thinking, "this is the end isnt it?", but maybe this isnt the end. Theres always beauty in something. Theres beauty in even the most evil, and vile creatures, it might never surface, but somewhere deep down it could be there. Waiting for that chance of the horizon to turn violets and blue, and a single rose to bloom. Waiting for the black clouds to disappear once more. Maybe it is the end though, and maybe its your one last minute on this land. Maybe when its all over you can look back and appreaciate how gorgeous and decayed it all was.

wonderful. i love the morbidness of it, the feeling of death radiating from it. the grass, the tree(s), the sky, it all looks ill, cancerous... again, excellent shot. great colors.

hi and thanks! I used a nikon d70 with a nikkor 12-24mm, but honestly, the photo could have been made with a mobilephone and gotten almost the same result, the postprocessing is what made it look like this.
