nice texture and depth.

my first feelings upon viewing were of a spider and a web, which is more of a static concept, a potential energy, poised and ready at any moment, rather than a kinetic energy.

not sure which you mean to convey, of course.

it's hard as hell to get a genuine feel for paintings (especially oil, especially abstract oil) on the computer. i often feel reduced to "rorschaching" what i see -- that is, intellectualizing the painting.

the color that strikes me most is the blue. somehow i feel it's crucial.

on the lower left it looks like viscera, exposed tissue in some surgery gone awry.

a compelling work. thanks.

your welcome.
and forgot to ask: what size canvas (or linen, et cetera) did you use?
and how did you shoot it to bring out a decent amount of the texture?

that's a lot of paint! when i paint now, i use a lot as well.

by "texture" i did mean the applicated color (rather than the texture of the materia painted on, or whatever.) i was curious how you shot your painting, what lighting, becuz whenever i photo a painting i can't get the texture of the applied paint, no matter how thick, how three-dimensional (some paintings are close to sculptures), no matter how clear to my eyes the actual brush strokes can be seen, it doesn't come out in the photo well like it did in yours (or so it seems to me.)

The size is 90x80cm.And what you belive that is texture is actually the aplicated colour.I work with a big quantity of colour.
