It's surprising how so few artists draw out a full Transformation sequence, as you have here. For me, this is the ultimate depiction of a Transformer, shown doing what it's famous for: Transforming! The gradual change allows you to appreciate the complexity (or lack of thereof, depending on the character) in the design, where parts go, how things fit together, etc. Starscream is a fairly simple transformation, but it's still so cool to see just how things fit together. Compare that to the movies, where the transformations are so fast or complicated that you can't see things properly. I'm sure this is how they want it because showing it very quickly means you don't notice the little cheats they use, shrinking/enlarging parts and bits appearing from nowhere. Virtually none of that kind of "cheating" is visible in the image above and I believe the depiction is that much stronger, more effective, more real, in a sense, than simply drawing a 'bot who's already *finished* transforming. I absolutely love Transformers drawn this way, with the bonus of such crisp, clear lines as you have here with nice, strongly contrasting colours an added bonus. My only possible critique of this image would be the resolution - but that's just because I'm an asshole lol. If this was in 1920x1080, I would *instantly* make it my new desktop wallpaper. Congratulations, you've created a masterpiece!
