Wow... the background is beautiful... I can't find words to describe it, meow...
I love the armony among all the red-purple tones... these colour suit Rachel's personality^^
Excellent work^^

Damn your line quality is nice...
Right now, I'd say line quality is my greatest weakness. =/

I had the same problem before but you will get to it. I used this program called paint tool sai for the lines because i like how its easy to rotate the canvas since i draw downward. Manga studio is also another program to look at because it straighten the lines automatically. Don't worry youll overcome your line weakness like i have.

Yeah. It's all practice, and I hope to get in plenty of that during my break. =3

Nice work, I like the limited pallet being used in a wide spectrum of shades. It's a very energetic scene.

This is BRILLIANT, especially the coloring and how the shading is done. I really like the petal effects and how you color this. \(^o^)/

Really amazing.I'm mainly blown away by the many flower petals all over the place, lol.Really love the background as well,I admire you for having patience to make a splendid background;I tend to half-ass my backgrounds xD Rachel came out wonderfully.
You mentioned you use Photoshop CS5 for this. Can you tell me your experience with CS5? I've read about how it's more suited for digital painting and all unlike the previous versions,do you think that's true or has it really changed that much? Sorry if I'm asking much here, you can ignore me if you don't feel like answering, lol.I'm just tempted to try it out and see how improved it is.
