lol, thanks. Though "speedpainting" for me is a relative term, meaning it didn't take me months. Usually my speed paints take me like 8 hours, which is by new means speed in the traditional sense.

Pretty small. I didn't work on an incredibly large scale with this one, which is why it was speed, but it was 2000x something, so still pretty big. When I shrink them down I tend to sharpen them as well so everything details nicely.

YES you win internets. Omg...lol. ^___^; Ahh Pierrot! I loved them too! Which reminds me I had actually planned out a Kirito pic and completely forgot about it. I must do it...because Kirito is sexxxxxxxxxx.

Sometimes I don't, sometimes I'll work like an hour or two and I can't do any more but overall I'm not really lacking in patience and I tend to zone out easily. So I can sit and work for 17,0000 hours straight if I'm on a roll and I'm not bothered. It depends on how challenging the picture is. The only thing is my hand starts to cramp really bad.

WOOO! INTERNETS!!1!!!!11 Oh man you should totally do a Kirito piece. He is absolutely sex... and your art rendition of him would be sex.. I can see it now *___* endorphines for everyone!

I find that if I try to work on something too long (and that depends on what/how I'm drawing) I have to force myself to stop or I'll start making mistakes... I do a lot of my art in ink and I find myself stopping every 30-45 minutes then coming back to it.

I used to draw him all the time. Oddly enough he's incredibly easy to draw. O_o Him and Die are probably the people I have the easiest time with, but they look so complicated. I will definitely do a Kirito piece then.

I know what you mean. I don't make a lot of mistakes so much as I'm unable to see the picture properly anymore. Like, I won't see things that are wrong unless I come back to it. Often times if I leave it and then look at in the morning I'll be like "Omg, wtf did I do to this thing?!" lol

Yeah, if I wait too long to look back on a drawing I have pretty much the same reaction... somewhere along the lines of "Holy shit this thing is garbage!" lol I can't tell you how many drawing books I have filled with half-assed drawings I got all blech about after looking at them later...

Really? Die is who actually started me drawing Jrock. If it wasn't for my retarded sketches of him I would have never come this far.

Ugh, I'm the same way. When I have actual drawing books and stuff I never finish anything. I hate everything I draw freehand so I never finish them. -_- I've only ever finished digital stuff.

really? I've only ever really "finished" stuff with Copic markers that I've drawn freehand... I can't digitally paint to save my life. I need to start meditating or something so I can have some patience! I started drawing Kyo... and it was downhill from there. lol

I'm really good with pencil work but everything else I'm terrible at. I can't color at ALL by hand. It looks like a 4 year old did it. When I first got PS i was so bad at it. Omg...I need to dig up my old stuff and let you guys see. It was terrible!!! I used all flat colors and over filtered and it just looked nasty. Everything just takes practice. X___X It's just so easy to get discouraged.

The skin texture is just brushes I've either found or made. I think I'll upload them soon, along with a tutorial on how to use them. It's SUPER easy. You'll be surprised.

You probably are. I used to overtexture as well and I thought it looked great and then I realize now that it just made everything worse. The trick is to smooth everything and only add texture in certain spots, that way it doesn't overpower everything. ^^
