Love it. My second playthrough was a Garrus romance. So fun.
Great work.

I wish to understand why you (if you have created fan-art or intend to, or if you have some feelings on the issue) create fan-art for this amazing narrative? Do you feel a sense of duty to uphold the relationships, or story that Bioware first invisioned? Is it a desire to further build upon the emotional relationships that you face throughout the game? What compels this reaction of artistic expressionism?

This was mostly for fun, but... well, the relationships in most RPGs are kind of glossed over - there are a couple of linear conversations, and that's all. I understand why (resource allocation being what it is), but part of me has trouble believing that a relationship can be summed up so simply, so I start working out what I think would happen between scripted scenes. When I'm playing a game, the story and gameplay generally serve as a jumping-off point for another narrative that I keep going in my head. I suppose it boils down to a desire to flesh out my own experience of the story and take ownership (participation is the great strength of video game storytelling, after all). As for the art itself, I create things mostly for myself and then share them hoping other people will enjoy them, too. I hope that helps answer your question!

I'm inclined to agree with you there! The extra history makes them a lot more interesting and enjoyable.

In my opinion this is probably the best Fem-Shep relationship in game.
The Jakob relationship is ...not right.
I have only read about the Thane relationship and it seems as if Thane is replacing his ex with Fem-Shep.
Garrus relationship is more about emotion and trust.

It's certainly my favorite!
I actually couldn't even handle talking to Jacob because all of FemShep's lines have her coming on so strong. ><

I wish for once they would show both genders for all the speicies because it only shows male turians, salarians, krogen, and batarian. Bio wear love the games but please be a little more detailed. Your creating an entier new galaxy make shure we dont get confused.

Nice to see some people still remember Turians DON'T LOOK LIKE HUMANS UNDER THAT ARMOR. xD

Thanks! I'm glad you think it looks realistic, although I can't take much credit for that - it's based off the only piece of official art that shows what turians look like under the armor.

Just compared colored to non-colored. I like them both. The colored one seems more intimate and alone (like they're in a dark room or something). The non-colored one is stark in a really good way. Can't choose which is better.
Mmmm, Garrus...

This is by far the best Garrus/ Sheppard pic I've seen so far. The colors are not as bad as you say, actually i find them fitting for the scene, btw, love how you highlighted the eyes, both so penetratingly blue... You've portrayed the feeling perfectly. Kudos

It me again.
Now this is somehting that I have been looking for. A nice pic of GArrus and Shepard sharing a tender moment together. And even though it can't be seen, you can tell that Garrus is smiling. It's looks so natural as well. And it is also pure.
The darker colours show the tnderness and the secrecy of their love. Still it's really sweet. A fave from me.

No problem. It was a well worked piece and I just wanted to let you know what I saw in it as to help. Also I noticed that your pic has this art but in a blue type hue, do you have that one up at all as it seems to suit it very well.

Actually, my avatar is just a version I slapped a half-dozen adjustment layers on top of. I could certainly try re-working the piece in cooler tones, though. Now that I've actually gotten to play ME2, I have to say cooler-tinted lighting would make more sense, given the fishtank...
