My first Jim&Ariel picture ever! Inspired by this amazing storysultal-wf.deviantart.com/galle…
I wanted to make a picture about these two, and to be for the girl who wrote the story, and it was the hardest picture I have made. The easy part was to get Jim's head, body and right hand and put them together. Then I had to find background, recolor Eric's hand and make it like it's Jim's and other things I don't remember. The worst was when I had to make Jim's colors look like Ariel's. He was too bright, his scenes were from the end of the movie when he hugged his mother and it was a sunny day. I tried and tried to make it with Macromedia Fireworks but no. I was ready to give up and just make him darker which wasn't very good option when my sister came home. She is better with
Adobe Photoshop and helped me to do the picture. Then I had to do the final things and it was finally ready. And I think there will be more Jim&Ariel pictures.

Movies used: The Little Mermaid, Treasure Planet

how did you make Jim look like hes apart of the movie?? I made a lot of JxA manips but they dont always fit the same image, if you know what i mean? Like in this one, even their outlines look like they came from the same disney movie, and the color of the both of them as well.
Could you maybe do a walkthrough of this piece? It's by FAR my favorite one so far
