Lore-wise, Grom was famous for being smaller and more slender than other orcs. That being said, he had unmatched speed because of it. That is why Garrosh is such a contrast to his father. Grom was smaller, faster, cunning and with long hair. Garrosh is large, brutish and bald.

Is Garrosh ever slightly bigger than Grom? That always really crosses my mind.

to be honest, I'm not quite sure but he appears to be larger maybe due to that horn thing and some other stuff on his shoulders... he's also more muscular base on what I see in the games...
