What an intriguing portrait! It gives the impression of being taken from both straight on and the side at the same time. The black and white is very bold and striking - when I saw it on the front page it really caught my eye. And the hand on the side keeps the face from being creepy. It also makes it seem almost mask-like. Wonderful! ^_^
