Coloring with promarkers, copics, flexmarkers, djeco & stabilo markers.
shiny parts made with "correction pen".

My only issue would be the backgrounds a little too busy on the right side. It's really fighting with your pony for attention

Traditional or Digital, that doesn't matter at all. It's how you use them.
Using smaller details, or paler colors might have helped. Or maybe off-setting a solid tone silhouette between Sweety and the bg? A friend of mine once suggested this to me - get copies of your line art (like from a Xerox machine) and color them in different ways. You can experiment until you find a combo you like, then do your original that way
