Description This is the colored version of the Monster Baby series,
Baby Lobo that got shipped out recently...
I don't like the shine that it has, but it still came out the way I had envisioned the color.
The first two that were sold were primer gray.
On the back of the diaper is a designer logo of a paw print with scratch marks.

Whey-hey!! I've been looking forward to seeing these little blighters in colour... and the paint has really brought him to life. Looks terrific Randy!
He must have been a blast to do...
I find satin varnish to be a bit of a mixed bag, depending what product it is, never know how it's quite going to turn out until it dries. I've had some that dry with more of a matte finish where as others are on the glossy side. Weird... and bloomin' frustating...
Can't wait to see the other kids painted up!

I really had fun coloring it, but like I said, that damn shiny finish came along.
I think if I would have been a little more patient and gave the piece some light coats and not let it build up to that shiny finish.
Hence that frustration....
I'm molding the Nosferatu Jr. as we speak and will be coloring that one soon.
I colored a Baby Frank a while back and sold it but wasn't happy with it so will color another one soon.

oh yeah, he's really cute the colours are awesome. I agree with the shine, even though I like shiny things, hehe. Well, I don't like it that much in the fullview version, but in the small view (or thumbnail or whatever) I think it's not distracting.

Yeah,I like matte finishes much better...
I was in a hurry to finish this and even though I used the satin finish, it was still thick enough to make it too shiny...dang...

Yeah, that damn satin finish didn't come out quite like it should have...

Still have a few projects to finish before I can get a start on babyman...

I had to look up the uncolored version and, well, even though it seems to shows finer structures without the color, I like the colored version MUCH better

Looks like I'm too much of a color guy

Well, I could not find some info about the size at the uncolored version, so I ask: How big is it, and what's the weight and material?

(Gosh, my paranoia haves me trying hard to keep as much personal info as possible out of the internet and I don't even have a credit card (because of that) but this is so tempting )

I really do need to put down dimensions and weight, so thank you for mentioning that...
He's about 6 inches high and probably around 2-3 lbs.
It's cast in a solid resin...
