They come quick as a thunder
black as a storm of ravens
two incorporeal shadows
from a forgotten past.

A dragon and a human,
to eternity both bonded,
as a sea breeze they're quiet,
but terryfing as death.

Appearing where they perceive
with blood the ground'll be covered
of dragon, poured by human,
or human, poured by dragon,

they come, and they stand between
the killer and the victim,
their faceless heads observe them
and then they disappear.

Two last remaining memories
of ancient times when their races
were not still mortal enemies
but they were friends and allies,

the shadows of these dead mates
throughout the country wander
to make their races remind
of their forgotten union.

Since their times all has fallen,
since then war and hate spreaded out,
all that they worked for vanished;
only peace'll vanish them.

Both black and without body,
without face and without voice,
keep flying until the dragons
and men will be reunited.
