I like to think that Gaige and Axton develop a father-daughter relationship and the Holodome DLC only reinforces that. They have a lot of similarites. Neither of them wer bandits for becoming vault hunters. Axton was in the military and Gaige was in high school. But both had to flee to Pandora because of mistakes they made.Related content

Considering how obvious this seems and how much character can be brought across in just one page, why don't the actual games have anything like this? Inept writers? Not enough of a budget for character cut scenes or character dialogue?...
