This wasn't as good as I hoped it would be.Experimenting with some stuff. But actually I just wanted a wallpaper but I couldn't find any I wanted in the size I needed so I made one. This is 1280x768. I was just bored. And needing to make some Bravest Warriors fan art.

If you haven't seen Bravest Warriors for some weird reason, you should watch it right now. It's the other original show by the creator of Adventure Time and both seasons are available on YouTube.

It's really easy to find one. It seems the most popular are PhotoShop, SAI, and I think it's called MangaStudio (maybe?). They all cost money though.
You might be able to download the full package of SAI for free but there's no guarentee it won't stop working after the first time you use it.
MangaStudio (still not sure about the name) and programs like it are apparently top quality stuff. I think you can only buy them on discs and the discs cost a lot. And if you're gonna invest in an expensive program like that, you'd need an expensive tablet, too.
I heard there are some places where you can find PhotoShop for free, but you might get a virus on your computer. Gimp is basically just like PhotoShop, except it's free to download on their website. The newest version I think is still 2.8 which I use. It's pretty easy to master after a while and you can use it to make GIFS.
Oh. There's also Flash for drawings and animations. But that also costs money unless you can find someone to send you a download file somewhere.

I always wanted to animate my drawings, I heard a bit about Gimp SAI, and photoshop. MangaStudio is pretty high. I never heard of Flash. What would you reconmend NinjaKitty?

If you want to spend money, probably SAI or PhotoShop. Flash is also good because it'sone of the most popular animation program out there for internet artists. Probably most of the animations you see on YouTube and Newgrounds are made with Flash. I think Flash is also pretty easy to pirate. If you have a lot of money to spend and a top-notch tablet, and time to learn, MangaStudio might be worth it. But if you want a free program to start off with to get used to other programs, get Gimp.
I recommend proably starting off with Gimp. It's free and good practice. You won't have any regrets if you don't like it and you can get used to art programs. It differs in a lot ways to SAI though. So switching from Gimp to SAI may be a little weird. But it's most similar to PhotoShop. I have no idea about MangaStudio. I've never met anyone in person who owns the program.
You can also use MSPaint to practice. Almost all computers come with MSPaint already installed.

I will start with Gimp, and Sai first then. Then Flash if i'm able to download it for free. I never knew it came with MSPant I will give that a try then. I heard pretty good feed back on MangaStudio.

No. Adventure Time and Bravest Warriors are both original cartoons made by Penelton Ward (He's 30 something years old). They both first appeared on a show on Nick called "Random! Cartoons". The show was a bunch of shorts put together by individual animatiors. The creator of Courage The Cowardly Dog even made a short for the show. Penelton Ward pitched Adventure Time to Nick, but they refused to make it a show there, so he went to Cartoon Network. Cartoon Network accepted his idea and aired Adventure Time. There was no contest or anything. A contest like that would be risky because the show could fail and the network loses money.
