So much detail with the grass and water effect. I like it. I have to learn from you too.

Thanks, I want to practice more with the flat shading first, it's the basic.

Ooooooh, this looks great! The only thing that's missing, and zenrha mentioned it, too. It needs more shadows. The dragon should be casting shadows, as well. I'd also focus on where the light is coming from when it's hitting the dragon. Otherwise, this is awesomeeeeee. 8D One of your best.

Thanks. yes I know I am just either too lazy or too scared to do it.

Why be scared? Just do it on another layer. You can always modify it if you mess up

I don't know. From past failures.

Failure is all a part of art. That's a big part of how you learn.

And like I said, with layers, you don't need to worry. What I do sometimes is if I'm going to try something, I make a backup and hide it..so if it doesn't go well, just delete that layer and use the backup

I just don't like making shadows, that's all.

That's understandable, but they're still important.

Wow, I already said you, how much I love the background here c:
I love the pose of the dragon, how he/she's climbing over the rocks. Nice! c:
If I may give you a little tip, you could add some more shadows next time. I'm sure the tree and dragon would have casted shadows
on the water/ground, as the sun seems shining bright.
Also, as this seems like a river flowing into a bigger sea/ the ocean I would have added some flowing direction to it. I mean, the strokes you made,
I'd have made vertical instead of horicontal as you made them here and slowly would have let them "flow" in the ocean.
And a last thing (xD) as the sun seems quite huge to me, I'm sure it shines quite bright. So I'd have made more shadows in the "middle" of the dragon, as there
is no real light hitting it and made the dragons "edges" brighter, as the sun really hits it there.
But even without that, I love the happy feeling of this, and the suns reflections on the sea is very nice made. ;u;

Ah yes, you're right, I always forget to do that. Drawing for 7-8 hours straight is not a good thing for me xD I actually always fear doing shadows, because I think I'll fuck it up. And it's actually a big lake you just can't see the end. c:

Oh my goodness I love the way you've drawn the grass, and the water looks amazing! I love the way you've painted the ripples so well. I love the pose as well, of the dragon jumping across the rocks- very happy looking picture, I love it! C:
