This piece is absolutely amazing! It's so into detail it feels as if Storm is actually in front of you. And believe me for someone that is addicted to shoes you've really out done your self. xD. You give Storm a whole new aura around her. With her outfit, especially the corset design, she seems more sophisticated, but at the same time she seems like she is ready to kick some bad guy butt. Oh wow thank you for the critique! You were my first one! I'm so glad you like it! I wanted to go completely left field with her and bring something to the table that's never been shown for her. Which is why I opted for the hood. And I also have a serious shoe fascination so I knew I wanted something severe with her footwear. Although I would've liked to push the footwear a little more, I'm still satisfied with it.
And I love that you noticed the sophistication of the design. I wanted to blur the lines of sophistication and total badassery. She LOOKS like she could hurt you. And that's what I was going for!

Thank you! I'm surprised too because I really thought this design out and worked hard on it. Β I wanted to do something different for her, but I guess it wasn't well received by any of the judges.
And I've heard once before it kind of looks like Fantomex. Β I think that's mostly due to the color scheme.

The only thing that sticks out as a potential turn-off for the judges to me is that maybe the cape is a bit too heavy and impractical looking for someone who rides the thermals, which is a shame as my I love the cloud lining at the bottom.

It is a little busy on the cape but I think that's one of the best parts of the design! Lol. Β I admit, maybe I went a little overboard with the design. Β But Storm is my fave so I can't help it.
I'm just glad I'm not the only one who's shocked that I had no placement at all in the contest. Β It really was discouraging.
