When I started out I didn't really know where I was going with this. I wanted to do something fantasy. But then midway decided an airship and buildings would be coo too. It's more of a sci-fi/fantasy thing now. Your pick. Also, it still carries quite a bit of flaws but I'm learning from them.I don't think I'm gonna attempt anything "detailed" for a while though. My new stuff will probably be speedpaintings for the most part.

PS: Yes, that is a very large tree in the middle.

Tezzeret simply looked from upon the grass covered cliff, he stared with awe, looking at beauty of the strangely built city upon massive pillars. Tezzeret only grinned, admiring the beauty of each detail. Tezzeret continued walking, knowning he couldn't reach the city no matter how hard he tried.

You have alot of cool elements in your painting. Something you should think of thou is to use a more blueish tone to the color of things in the far background. You did that with the mountains but the greens around the waterfall is kinda the same green as that in the foreground. To work with colors in this way is the easiest way to create a feeling of depth. The buildings are really nice!
