Dang, after I drew Mary Marvel and Captain Marvel I felt like there was something missing in my life so I drew Captain Marvel Jr. One thing about Captain Marvel Jr though, I don’t get why people always overplay the Elvis connection. Captain Marvel Jr was so cool Elvis, who was cool as hell, wanted to be like HIM. Captain Marvel Jr. should be someone so cool pop stars want to look, dress, and act like him. Having him so defined by the Elvis thing is counterproductive because being Elvis has been a joke for decades now. That said, I used a Ricky Nelson picture for reference. Because Ricky Nelson’s coolness is eternal.
