Okay, for no particular reason I had another uncontrollable need to draw Shazam last night. My previous attempt was kind of foppish and awkward looking, but I liked the idea of dramatic lighting from below and all that stuff, so I gave it another shot. I think this one strikes the right balance between cartoon-stylized and respectful of the character's original design.He's just so darn happy!
Pencil line art colored in Photoshop. All told it took somewhere around 3 hours.

SHAAAAAAZZZAM!! I love Shazam, used to love the saturday morning show. Might I suggest you do a Balck Adam facing the opposite way with a lot darker/greyer sky to make like a bookend kind of effect.....that would be just as cool as this drawing.
