Wow. This must have taken a while to do. Awesome job.
It's the first time I've ever seen a drawing of Durga (or anything Hindu) on DA. I should look around more...

Whoa....that's really really good. I like how the vector is smooth, rather than that jaggy method. I mean I like that but it's good to see something like this as well. A very clean and crisp piece.

Wow. That does look like alot of work. Hope you didn't burn out any eyesockets trying to manipulate the curves on that one. Something like this would make me blind upon accomplishment.
I suppose the buffalo demo would probably be what George bush is right now.
Durgra the unattainable? Yes I guess being able to carry 10 weapons at one time would make it hard for her to get a date (God forbid she should ever get firearms).
I've seen those multiarm goddesses before but never really understood why they have so many arms.

weelllllll the really surface and unprofound reason is that each devata (thats what a vedic deity is) has its own symbols and qualities that are reprsented by objects-- flowers, arrows, streams of gold coins, etc. so, for practicality, they just gave them more arms so that they could hold all of their symbols. in some cases the multiple sets of arms represtent different natures of the devata.
On a deeper level, the different aspects of these deities have been found to correlate with the human physiology and anatomy O.o
durga, for instance, is the goddess who protects the good from demons and what not; she has eight arms. this has been found to correlate to the eight sockets in the sacrum bone, whos purpose is to protect the base of the spinal cord. pretty spiffy. google veda in the human physiology if you wanna know more. ok story time with kacchapa is over.

I have neither any idea, but when I look at pictures of those Goddesses and Gods, I imagine they are represented with many arms symbolizing almightiness... but It's just something I imagine being totally ignorant of your religion...
I like your work a lot, the thing I like the most is the colours you choose... they give the situation in the picture and appearance to be lost in time, and yet, not dead... so... CONGRATULATIONS!

Hell yeah, that's cool. I like the whole meaning behind it too. I really dig your work, it's nice to see vector work that's not directly from pop culture, I'm kinda getting sick of it people doing that. I dig the underground culture though, I wish more people did that, not to say this is underground content obviously. I don't want to label this, this is too unique and cool for me to do that.
