Let's see, what more can I add.
It was the first collaboration project between my brother and I. The original game was supposed to have much higher-res graphics, looking more like a cartoon the 8-bit NES game. We chose to turn the games graphics to 8-bit based on another project I was working on called "The Adventures of the Grim Avenger", an 8-bit platformer.
From there, we decided to add up to six playable characters, each with their own advantages and drawbacks. You can see the finished roster here: [link] . It explains the characters also.
The story was written by both of us, using original characters from our fanon project, Talking. The basic story is this:
One day, Schaeffer an his gang; Corey, Erik, Evan and Richard (Plus Schaeffer's tag-along brother, Riley), get word that the Asher (A criminal villain made of ash) is attacking Home Town (Fictional town the characters of Talking live in). They quickly dispatch and defeat the Asher, only to realize the evil Dirt Bag and his generals have started his newest plans for world domination and the Asher's attack was only the beginning. Now, they must combat Dirt Bag and his greatest generals; Iron Claw, Dr. Benedict, Yamato, and Sch-Scar, to save the world for utter domination.
The game features six episodes, with each one having between 4-5 stages. The episodes each take place in a different location, from city streets, to Japan, to a frozen Antarctica, to the cold depths of Space, and the evil Dirt Bag's fortress.
The game became my primary concern for a while, as it was the final project in my Senior year of High School. I worked tirelessly on this game, trying to get a demo out in time, but I never succeeded. I got enough done on the project to still get an A on it, but the demo was never released.
The stage you see in this image, Episode 3 Act 2, is the stage I was working on for the demo, The Bullet Train. About 30-40% of it is done, but I haven't worked on the project since I graduated from High School.
The only concern to most people is that the game, in its current condition, needs a copy of Doom 2 to run. In the final release of the whole game, we plan to make it not need Doom 2.
Anything else you would like to know?

Well, there's two problems with that. It's not playable unless you have Doom 2, and it's not ready for a release.
Right now, I'm working on a project with *Rodie-The-Nightblade , where we are modding Doom to turn it into a Touhou game that plays like Oblivion.

I've them thanks to Pirate Bay.
As for this Touhou one... I kind of tried to make a mod for MM8BDM for that before, but gave up.

Pirate Bay? Is that a pirated website? Pirated copies of Doom normally don't work correctly, but I've seen some cases of it working.

Sounds good. Yeah, I can't say I approve of the way you got them, but you're a fellow Doomer, so I'm not complaining.

What'd you play? Duke Nukem (Before Duke 3-D)? Commander Keen? Wolfenstien 3-D?

Commander Keen wasn't in my list. But Hocus Pocus, DN, DN2, DN3D, Wolf3D, Doom, Doom 2, Heretic, Hexen, Quake, Hexen 2, Quake 2, Tyrian 2.1 and many others were in my list. Few weren't owned, though. And back then it was easy to buy a legit game in a store around here, but now they are beyond rare.

That's great! Quite straight forward and easy to follow. What software was used to develop this game?

I'm using the Doom engine as a base, and programs like SLumped and Doom Builder primarily, but I've used Audacity and Paint.NET a lot too. The program that actually runs the game is a source port called GZDoom.

technical stuff damn it. I'm really bad at computer jargon.
So, basically you programmed the whole stuff? I really admire people with computer programming skills.

I'm not programming as much as people think, thanks to the simplicity of editing the Doom engine. It's really cool to see it all come together. I should have a demo featuring this level coming soon.
