With how he's talking, you'd think he's trying to hunt down the Guardians (I think they're supposed to help maintain the world), but according to the lores, those Guardians are immortal.
Either way, Moonshade is one messed up dude, considering his 'work' is going to get everyone killed eventually (chaotic seasons are never a good thing. Just look at us, we messed up our environment)

Jakkai is snake guardian's alternate form. He is also a relative (father, maybe?) of Rhea, thus the Snaketail in her name.

Well my theory is that, since he said that he killed all others in his bloodline, and we know the Rhea was murdered as well as one of the demons saying that Rhea's and his tail looked the same, it all leads to them being related somehow.
