Description I haven't drawn much traditional stuff in a while, so I decided that this weekend I would take some time off from my obligations and practice. It helps to draw when I'm feeling down in the dumps, because at least I can get caught up in the joy of creation... in theory.

Anyway! Rhea's face came out a little darker, but hey, that's why I need to practice: to learn how to avoid doing that in the future.

Rhea Snaketail is my original character and she is from Slightly Damned .

I always wondered something; what are the bands of cloth on Rhea's legs?

It's cloth held to her feet with string.

Just a insignificant question that chews at my sleep, but what brought about the change in Rhea's shape? I mean she used to look kind of taller and leaner, but as your work improved she seamed to shrink. Well, height-wise, anyways.

Hm, I don't agree with you. I think she was shorter and cuter at first and then became taller.

You think she was shorter before? Hmm. I guess I was using the wrong height references. I think I compared her to Buwaro. But I will agree on the cuteness stand. Anyways, keep up the great work! Otherwise I will go into withdrawl.

I can never use marker because I always have that line of areas that are darker than the rest where I went over twice

Rhea looks awesome in this picture, maybe because her face looks like it's in shadow. You might try one where she looks like that on purpose.

Is it just me, or does Rhea look more feminine recently compared to earlier in the comic?
Especially the face...

I loooooove doing traditional. I don;t know, maybe it's feeling the paper under your pen instead of a tablet or even a mouse. Much less forgiving though. <3
