When I was about twelve I tried to make my own fingerless gloves, by cutting off the fingers of regular winter gloves. Then I messed up and hid all the pieces in various places of my room. Sometimes I still find bits and pieces of black glove under a bookshelf or something.
My mind was totally blown when I was told you could just BUY them already like that.
