I have a Samsung Note 9 cell phone, and one of the reasons I got it was for the built-in stylus, but there weren’t any good drawing programs pre-installed so I wasn’t using it much. But then I searched online and ended up finding Autodesk Sketchbook. It acts just like a computer program, but I can draw right on the screen, which I love.
So this is the first drawing I did with the new program! And it’s the first piece that I’ve finished from sketch to line art to color to background all digitally (and on a cell phone)! It was a lot of fun, and I was honestly trying to use as many different brushes in this as I could just to see what they could do.
About the drawing itself, it started with the simple idea of Varian welcoming Cassandra to the “dark side” now that she’s become a villain, too. I sketched it out on my phone and was having fun so I kept going. 😊

Yep! What I hate about most computer tablets is that you can't see what you're doing on the screen, you have to look up at the computer (unless you pay the big bucks for a fancier tablet), so it was fun for me using my cell phone.
