I find that whenever you clean up a piece and remove any form of sketchy linework, it completely loses a special trait - that said, it does not gain other traits if kept.Like a sort of sacrifice, I suppose... because sketchy lines do have their own character. :3Although I have to say, I do like both pieces for their own unique styles! Also because dragons are just awesome.

Yes, I completely agree. It's like taking part of its' "soul". I have the urge for making the lines as clean and neat as possible, but most of the time the character will suffer from it. So with each it's a bit of an internal struggle between my mind that want order and by heart that wants an emotional connection to the piece. Lately I've managed to convince myself that not EVERYTHING needs clean lineart, which is also a big time saver. Thank you ^.^Yup, dragons are awesome.

I know how you feel... I mean I do the same with my art!! Although there are some pieces where I fought the urge to clean it up, so some of my work has escaped such a.. er... whatever kind of horrible fate that is. xDI suppose it could be like a child growing into an adult... the adult is fully developed, but the child is adorable....unless it has hurricane lungs. And yes... but it comes down to the question as to WHICH piece doesn't need clean lineart... which can be a bit of a tough one.. You're welcome! :3And yush. Mayhaps I should draw my dragon characters again.Or at least draw my Spyrosona... OH WAIT I still have an unfinished Spyro comic ahaha... uh-oh... xD
