done with markers, gel pens, and clear nail polish. ;]checkered nails tutorial !
1) paint a layer of nail polish on your nail.
2) after it's dried, use gel pen or whatever works and draw a checkered pattern over the nail.
3) after that's dried, overlap it TWICE with clear nail polish again and walla
.

i have a question....i tried some time ago to use a black ink pen....and i saw that ink doesn't really dry on the nail...or when it does..it kinda fades...do all pens act this way or only the ink ones? so...is a gel pen better?
