One of my favorite scenes throughout the new SW film. It's also very heartwarming. After seeing Finn and Rey hug each other, I began to ship them. I still ship them. I'm one of the fans who wishes for FinnRey to happen in Episode 8 or 9.

Same here. When I mentioned that it disturbs me, there is something else which greatly shocks and disgusts me, even much more than Reylo. I know I'm about to bring up a different subject, but here it is.
I am much more horrified about this best selling novel written by EL James called Fifty Shades Of Grey. I hate it with a passion and I'll tell you why. It is not BDSM and it is not a love story. It is all about abuse, control, and devastation. I'm not into BDSM. But lots of people of the BDSM community have criticized EL James for writing about an abusive story. They still give her shit because they say that her book is very harmful and wrongly portrayed. They even declared that BDSM is not for abusing and traumatizing. BDSM is all about consent and trust, and only the submissive is in charge. Not the dominant. That's why lots of the BDSM people hate what she wrote and I don't blame them. Good for them speaking the truth and for giving criticism.Β

But what you say is true. I don't know how the hell someone like EL would get away with writing a terrible story and making it a best seller. Many people who know nothing about BDSM don't know that EL's books are very harmful. I really do hate when people say negative things about Rey and Finn being together just because they're a different race, and yet they go crazy and ship Finn with Poe and Rey with Kylo and make excuses about how they're together, which really disgusts me. And when I would try to tell them that kids aren't really used to seeing gay couples, they just reply to me that kids aren't used to interracial relationships either, but when I was a kid, I remember seeing Pocahontas and that movie did have a interracial romance between John Smith and Pocahontas, and I'm sure other kids saw that movie too and were okay with interracial romance. So those people really need to stop complaining and know the meaning of love, and that love in The Force Awakens was about Rey and Finn. β€οΈ

Absolutely. I can even see that in The Force Awakens, Finn and Rey really do care for each other. They are more than just best friends. Anyone who pretends that they don't see that. Anyone who puts down interracial couples is just dense.
