I thought since this weekend is when Clinchfield F3 #800 is going to haul the CSX Santa Train on its old home turf, I should upload a picture of it when I first saw it back in 2014 at Streamliners at Spencer. Here, we see CRR #800 painted as "C&O #8016" from its days owned by the C&O Railway Historical Society and running on the Potomac Eagle in West Virginia. It was one of the over 20 units that attended Streamliners at Spencer back in 2014 at the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC. This unit remained in Spencer for 3 years after Streamliners at Spencer for some odd reason, before it was moved to the CSX Huntington, WV Shops and got a thorough cosmetic restoration back to its original CRR colors. The engine is now owned by the Southern Appalachia Railway Museum in Oak Ridge, TN, where it will go after hauling the 75th Annual CSX Santa Train.
