I really love this piece of art. It made me inspired for all things World of Warcraft again! Not that I fell out of love, mind you, but this piece just... rejuvenated it.

For part of it, yeah, but the image is blending a couple perspectives together. The extreme depth on the hand leading back along a foreshortened arm isn't reflected in the rest of her body, which would bend far away if it was all using that same "lens." But again, we bend reality to serve the piece. In this case it works decently well, although I think pushing that forearm closer to the camera as well would help blend that transition from a super-foreshortened hand to a body set in a fairly squared and flat perspective.

Yeah you are right. The huge hand doesn't reflect the rest of the body perspective and it just ruins the picture imo. It could have been a really great picture without it.
