Description
I finally got the NDA lifted on this card I did for the new Warhammer: Invasion card game from Fantasy Flight Games for Games Workshop . Finished this back in April, actually.You can check out the press release with my card featured here , and you can check out the final card here . Unfortunately the cards are going to print with my name misspelled, but hey, that means they might be worth more, right? Haha.
Also, keep in mind, cards like this are meant to be viewed at a much smaller size than presented here, and are usually contracted on short deadlines. Anyway, hope you like it, and maybe I'll get to upload the other one I did soon too.

looks really good this is the kind of stuff i like since it is what i'm studying. funny after watching the brush tutorial i can spot a lot of your custom brushes.

the picture is rather boss. i did wonder at least once when i was younger why the art was often so different between cards, not realising well enough at the time that there were different artists making them. the primary greatsword does seem a bit tense, but overall the picture is more than appropriately drawn for print on a game card.

Perhaps you too should read the description. Now, back to `Rahll , I figured the company has no affiliation with Warcraft, but this definitely has like an Oreo/Hydrox feel to it. Am I off?

it does have that look, but theres atleast 4 other games i have seen with green orcs. the first warcraft game set the example for orcs, so a lot use them. kerembeyit has been doing some book covers and i think some games that use the exact same style of orcs, one of the orcs looks like Thrall.

I think its pretty common for the two to be compared, but the warhammer universe is a good 10 years older than the warcraft one.

It's unfortunate that on the cards it's viewed so small as you lose a lot of the quality. This is much better in the full view you give us.
