So lyricalmime included my lil sparknix in this extremely cute piece:
And I got so much inspiration fuel to draw Spearmint again, I'd missed her, she's so cute.
Also for some reason I was under the impression she was male, but I went to check her ref sheet today and she's a girl, so despite the fact that I've referred to her as a "him" on several occassions, she is a female. I just have stupid mouse brain sometimes and I forget my own canon.
Anyway, here are three distinct Spearmint moods:
-Sad, when people are unkind or when things don't go her way.
-happy, when she gets to deliver mail and stuff or is being praised
-Sleeping, literally the best state you can find Spearmint in, because if she's asleep it means she's not actively causing any trouble.

It's really hard to find them in the country where I live! Pet shops here don't have them, and rodent breeders are super rare.

Ah I used to have hamsters and they did that all the time, I installed foodbowls on the sides of the cage and had a little ladder going up to them so they didn't get inside to poop in their food as much.
