Description

I don't think I'll manage to complete the mountain event after all D: D:

Unless I somhow manage to wake up super early and throw together something for the confrontation really quick.

Anywayy, this was surpisingly easy to make? I had zero issues with it, and it took me 1 hour, on SAI only because I'm too tired for photoshop rn.

I tried writting the usual accompanying piece of story for this image, but I couldn't get in the right mood to convey the thing I wanted to. So perhaps I'll just post the story seperately, or maybe tomorrow I'll edit this with the story added. I dunno. I'm sorry It's 2:30 am here and I have to get up early tomorrow.

Here is where the story will go if I do write it later: -blank-

That said, Taro decided to leave the token untouched once again.

This time it was an easier decision, and after he sat by the stream and took in the stillness and peace of everything for a bit, he thanked the shrine for not crying and begging, apologised and left.

Whoa, the movement in this one is great! I love that you managed to make the rocks look so fluid and so pretty in the way that they curve upwards! Not only do they help lead your eye right towards the shrine, but they also add a great amount of movement in the entire picture. Taro looks so curious about his surroundings, which I think is super cute. ;___;

I'm really glad to hear that, that was the effect I was going for with the rocks around!

Man, the lighting is awesome! The paintily stile looks really amazing, I think it might look even better if you removed the linework (but, you don't have to). It would make them even more breathtaking (...maybe)

Thank you very much!
I actually added the lines on top of it at the end because I thought it would give it a bit more...structure, or make it a bit more interesting. idk though, perhaps you're right!

Well, if you feel like just the colours doesn't look rocky enough, just add a few sharp edges and then look at it with or without linework and decide what's better. If you actually want to look back into it.
