Breed:Red-faced japanese, often referred to as japanese juggler. (breeder's code: JapR)
Breed history: A dragon that has bed domesticated for thousands of year. It's origins are japanese, although by the middle of the 20th century it became a popular pet most of Asia and eastern Europe. It's intelligence was what drew humans to this amazing dragon, despite the fact that before its domestication it was a dangerous predator. It was used in circuses both for the tricks that it could learn and for the amazing acuracy of its long tail. That's were the name came from. The breed became popular in the west when travelers to Japan rescued some of these dragons and brought them back with them. Since then, there has been a long debate over how this dragon should be treated, as its inteligence appears to be almost human-like.
Breed rarity: Rare, only found as a pet in high-class houses, a sign of wealth.Can also be found in some dragon zoos. Does not exist in the wild.
Diet: This dragon in omnivorous. Usually fed special pet dragon food.
Life in captivity: It's This dragon is not only kept for its amazing abilities and its fun personality, but also because of the status it gives to its owner. It's not easiest, cheapest dragon to keep and most of the pet Japanese jugglers live a life in luxury. Each individual's worth is decided upon a variety of factors, mostly on how broght red their face is and the shape of their ears. Tail length and height also matters.
Features: In regards to appearances, this dragon is tall, a male's head can reach up to two meters above the ground. They cannot be ridden, but with proper training, two of them may be able to pull a small carriage. Their tall thin lgs make them look unstable, but the tails helps a lot with balancing. They run like deer. They can mimic a variety of human expressions. THey have sharp senses and their tail is extremely flexible and sensitive. One of this breed's special features is the thin hair that grows at the lower back of their legs. Not all of them have spikes on their backs. females usally have more markings that males. This dragon also loves round objects, much like some birds love shiny things. A dragon may hoard thousands of balls if they are given the chance. Epecially those that bounce a lot. They have no toes.
