Description Verbena stricta

One of my favorite prairie plants which is especially important for the Common Buckeye Butterfly (Junonia coenia).  Just a tiny sliver of my Prairie garden.

 I haven't been using the camera for awhile, maybe soon.

I learn something every day.  My vampire reading began and ended with Bram Stokers Dracula, my movie viewing ends with Dawn of the Dead and the old campy vampire movies with Peter Cushing.  Vampires never did anything for me.

Thanks, this was my third try due to strong breezes for nearly two weeks.  I almost staked them to keep them somewhat still.  I probably should have the first time.  I have been kind of "slow" lately.
