Description
I was shooting in this empty parking lot when I spied a guy coming out back where I had been earlier. Headed back to the car...he yelled "Get out!." I waved at him and got in the car. I had one picture left to take and this was it. This was a drive by, stop, shoot and go. That it's not a complete blur was a surprise.Thanks in advance for any faves, they are always appreciated.

Ha, yeah, I've moved to a new town, and I want to go out with my camera, but I'm a little afraid if people will be suspicious of me!

Women can get away with it far easier than men. I often carry a book with my photographs to convince people I am not up to "no good." When asked and I tell them I am doing abstract photography. I'll describe what that is and you can tell that they don't get it at all. Aren't "photos" supposed to be of children and trees? Then I show them a couple and some get it, most still don't. Those that don't get it usually have this look of WTF on their faces and they pity my delusions...but at least they now know I am not a threat.

Well, I worked up the courage to go for a walk yesterday and I came across a factory area, that had some great textures, and there was a fella working there, so I just went up to him and said 'hi, I'm a texture artist, I take photos of scratched up and rough looking stuff for other artists to use when making their art, and that is why I am here, if you are cool with that?' Yep, no worries.

Nothing "awful. How can you blame them, after all anyone could be a terrorist. Especially old white guys.
I am glad that I have power windows in the car because I shot this through the window on the other side of the car while my foot was on the brake.
