Don't forget to zoom in for greater detail!EDIT: Brightened up the darkness a tiny bit to even out the lighting in the picture.
Sorry about the lack of detail or fanfare about this one...not at my best.
I actually made this a couple of days ago and it's been sitting in my Stash until just now - sorry about that, I didn't feel like
uploading it at the time for personal reasons. It's here now though
I wanted to do a picture based on the original characters, seeing as I've been focusing on the more recent characters and haven't
been able to get anything major done with the new Funtime Foxy model by Qutiix xD Soon, though! Decided to focus on Chica and
her habit of staring at things while hanging her beak wide open - had to improvise a little seeing as the cupcake model got taken
down :/
Enjoy a spooky chicken for now! More pictures will come when I'm feeling slightly better ^^

Ah nice, I like this! I wish it were brighter overall, but it's still possible to see the details in there. I do like the cupcake though, especially the eyes!

Thanks! I'll pull it back into PhotoScape and GIMP and give it a
bigger brightness overhaul - I did actually upgrade the lighting a
little, so it's brighter than it was the first time xD The cupcake is
a little improvisation due to the original model being taken down
and me not having a replacement xD The eyes are from a prototype
FredBear model on the Workshop, I use one of the other eyes as my
avatar's 'glowing' eyes now ^^

ah yeah I had seen you said you did brighten it up some, which is good, but it's definitely still dark overall. You see, it looks good when you see the big picture, but to someone who's just browsing thumbnails, this isn't going to pop out at them or catch their attention... which you want.

I'll give it an overhaul soon to make it brighter - if all else fails,
there's nothing hidden in the darkness except perhaps the cupcake xD
You're certainly not missing anything by only seeing the top left
reason I did the lighting that way was to match the in-game lighting there -
she's stood right below a light after all ^^
Definitely agree with the 'catching attention' part! That's why I try to use
unusual poses and distinctive lighting ^^ Also why all of my pictures are slightly
tilted to the side - means that your head will sit naturally rather than having to
hold it straight up and makes the picture seem more realistic somehow xD
Not directly replaced, I just moved the textures over because the cupcake needed
blue eyes and I kinda liked the teal color that the FredBear model had
do a closeup of this cupcake editing soon to show you what they actually look like ^^

well I mean TBH the picture is almost perfect just how it is, and you're totally right about using the lighting and posing and camera like you did to get a great in-game feel.
it's just part of my own thought process when designing a picture, to not make it TOO dark that people browsing around just skip right over it because nothing pops out. eh
And of course... "moved" the eye texture over... yeah yeah gmod language XD though i guess technically you could do it manually in SFM too. But yeah I can't imagine trying to actually move the individual eyes over. Much better to just replace the textures. It would be neat to see a picture dedicated just to the happy cupcake with blue eyes

I know what you mean about the darkness making people skip
it - I try not to make pictures too dark as it can be a little too hard to
see things
pictures, but now I'm going for a balance of light and dark ^^
SFM has a similar ability with the 'override material' thing
have an easier time of doing it as I can just grab the texture from one
model and copy it over a specific texture of another model ^^ Before, I
did actually physically grab the eyes from one model and move them into
the skull of another
eyes ^^ Mainly because the SpringTrap models have separate versions of the
eye texture for the eye and the pupil, to give it that 'glow in the dark' feel ^^
Will definitely do a happy cupcake picture sometime, though!

I usually only go back in if it's absolutely necessary - sometimes a picture takes far
too long to do and becomes unstable. I usually won't go back in if I've used that prop
command, seeing as it doesn't save with the map xD Other things is if I've used lamps
or humans (seeing as the Eye Poser doesn't save either -_-)
For my picture, I wanted to explore what happens during the FNaF3 game over - seeing
as we never see, but it's implied that he directly kills you. So...I'm trying to make my
first violent/gore picture without being over-the-top and coating things in blood
(Though I have used gore before, but nobody really paid attention to the picture xD)
I do have a picture, but the lighting doesn't stand out enough, so I wanna go back in and
relight the picture to see if I can make it work better ^^ I can show you the original via note

I love that glow on the cupcake to add interest, I really like the pose of the pizza chicken overall with her enthusiastic 'I'm gonna get ya' stare, this has my shark chicken approval!
(Just because its in a bit of darkness doesn't mean its not still a good picture! You can still see enough where its still effective don't get down on yourself.)
