And this is what happens when I draw while listening to stuff like this: [link] XDThis song would be so dang perfect for them, if not for the whole "kiss" thing. XD
Anyway, an idea here with their powers combining at a strange moment... y'know how that works with them (which is to say: erratically).
I can only hope they don't accidentally warp through time doing this. X3

I like how it looks as if you used the airbrush to color them. You've done that with more than one picture but I've never commented on it before.
I like their expressions--each one shows surprise and shock while still somehow looking different from each other. And reflecting each boys' character traits. Dark's arms also don't look that bad, and their hands look pretty good. I think the only thing that looks odd is Mephy's arms, especially the way the one in the foreground connects to his body.
Oh, and I love the pretty aura bubbles they're giving off. ^^ As well as the white outlining they each have; it's subtle, but helps them stand out a bit more against the dark background.

I think the chest fluff made it difficult... But yeah, that arm does bug me...
I also enjoy the expressions, as well. It's interesting how they can have the same base face, but enough subtle differences to make the esperessions unique to themselves. I mean, if you disreguared the colors, quill shapes, ear bite, and eye scar (and for some reason, I seem to have missed Dark's pupils...), you can still tell which boy it should be. :3
These two are so fun to draw together (though Iblis is really working his way in to making this a trio rather than a duo. X3 )

I hate it when that one body part winds up not coming out the way I wanted it too. XD I find myself staring at it with a grumpy face.
Exactly, and I've always loved that, how they can have the same basic emotion behind the expression but still have differences to the face they make. ^^ And I was wondering about Dark's pupils, but I chose not to mention that; I have a habit of forgetting pupils frequently, but sometimes I just purposely leave them out because the eye looks perfect as it is and all my attempts to add the pupil ruins the rest of the eye. If the pupil repeatedly looks wrong on one eye, it doesn't matter to me if it came out fine on the other; I have to scrap them both. XD
I enjoy seeing them together. In serious situations, in light-hearted ones; in story illustrations and in-between-stories antics. X3 And I love how Iblis is slowly turning this into a trio. I love all three of them and I enjoy seeing them all together.

Sometimes, the pupil thing just doesn't work out... Especially when it's a specialty type shape. XD

Yes. Making cat pupils are difficult as it's a line that needs to be "shaved off" the ends to look tapered and pointed... To look right, that is. @_@

One word: FEET. OTL Feet are so annoying.
Oh! I know what you mean! I can't tell you how many times I've spent way too much time on Dark, Iblis, or Krad's pupils. @.@ Erasing and redoing the ink, only to erase again, trying to get the point to look right, and also trying to make the pupils even so as to avoid unintentionally making them look derpy/concussed.

Feet and shoes... Sometimes toes. XD
And tails sometimes. Longish ones. XD
I just stick a line down on one later for the pupils, and use the eraser tool set to small to chisel away at the ends until I taper it to a point. Takes a while, but eventually it looks alright. The problem is, there's hardly a tapered brush on these programs unless you really tweak things enough to get a headache. @_@

Always toes, and especially shoes. OTL One of the reasons why everyone I draw seems to be inexplicably barefoot. Although, I will say that I've not had much trouble with long tails, surprisingly...
I'll have to try that trick at some point. It would be nice to make a tapered brush, but that doesn't even sound worth it. And that's assuming I could even figure out how to make one. XD

MM..that reminds me of something.
A Mephiles had found a weird book with no title or anything on it in a library, and when he touched it he felt something weird. Then he dropped it. He picked it back up, bought it, went to the woods, and stared.
He then picked it up and couldn't let go..
AND BOOM WORDS APPEARED.
