love the hair and the clothing pattern
im a noob with 3D art. what is it? how's the process?why is it called 3D art. isnt it same as regular digital painting on photoshop? or u have to sculp 1st, take pic & color it in digital?
sorry for asking silly question. always want to know, but dont have the gut, since i love yr work, so gather myself to be brave to annoy u with my noobness

More advanced people will digitally sculpt their own models, paint their own textures, etc. But that takes a lot of time and high end tools. Everything I do with commercially available models that I purchase to compose my scenes.
The tool I use is called DAZ Studio. Probably the best way to explain how it works is to look at a video of it in action. At the link below, there's a couple of videos that show how it's used.
