Oils are actually really fun to use too with the right painting to go with them. Much better colors, even though most of the time I don't particularly like em

thanks! i was thinking of painting sometimes soon i just need some gesso so i can paint on the palette and wooden art posing figure i have. after i paint the palette i was going to turn it into a clock.

you are so good! i want to be an artist when i grow up.. im trying really hard, i am. but looking at other people's drawings is just bringing me down because ill never be as good as them. i draw everyday, even when my hand cramps. i want to get better. and drawings and paintings such as yours just motivate me more! ^^ you should be glad that your someone's insparation!

You have nothing to fear, dear. I get like that ALL THE TIME when I see someone else's artwork. I would love to one day commission my work- make money off the one thing I was born to do- but people that do commission their work already are SO good... makes me feel like i'll never be able to accomplish my dream.

Just keep practicing and practicing. Challenge yourself, too. Force yourself to draw in a medium you hate like charcoal or something, you can only get better. I've been drawing ever since I was 3, lol... so time came in handy.

The last two drawings I made I thought were failures, because they weren't like the photos at all. But to other people, they are exceptional drawings. It's funny how other people view your work, you know? I'll bet right now someone is out there looking at your stuff, thinking to himself; I wish I could draw anime like him.
