Description After some kind of unreliable consideration, I decided that outta all the projects I'm progressing at, I'll finish this tutorial, which has been stuck in my laptop for ages, first.

It's just a really simple way to do lightnings. There's other tutorials out there which requires more paintbrushing so you might as well take a look at them too once you feel the need of getting away from Photoshop's convenience.

I just hope this tutorial can be useful for anyone. :3

Just going to say, I've seen yellow, blue, green, red, purple and various other shades as 'heat lightning' or 'dry lightning' here in Alberta. Storm lightning usually only occurs in blue/purple, but heat lightning is much more varied in colours and creates a gorgeous light show.

That sounds super radical. I wish to experience one.

It's common here in the summer because we're a mountain/plain region and it gets SO HOT. Then we become the coldest pace on the planet in the winter..Haha. If yuo can find a more mountainous region that gets hot as hell(Around +30-45 Celcius) you'll probably see heat lightning a few nights in a row while the air tries to cool off.

It looks very nice! I see usage of fractal brushes there and the electricity flow looks more organic, maybe you used some Photoshop distort filter?

Everything blends with the pic very well, I like it
