Just going to say, I've seen yellow, blue, green, red, purple and various other shades as 'heat lightning' or 'dry lightning' here in Alberta. Storm lightning usually only occurs in blue/purple, but heat lightning is much more varied in colours and creates a gorgeous light show.

It's common here in the summer because we're a mountain/plain region and it gets SO HOT. Then we become the coldest pace on the planet in the winter..Haha. If yuo can find a more mountainous region that gets hot as hell(Around +30-45 Celcius) you'll probably see heat lightning a few nights in a row while the air tries to cool off.
