haha, when I was a little child I actually draw only horses. And know I try to draw humans ... I still have much to learn, but thank you so much

I used to try to draw humans but I just get disheartened by the fact that it looks so bad. I cant deal with the fact that Im not going to be great at it in the beginning.

Me an anatomy aren't great friends.

God... I should keep trying but I just can't. They look so bad when I do it. It just makes get in a rut even more (I've been in art block for like six months)

there are a lot of tuturials here on dA which help you with the basics ;D I also used them but the rest I leraned from other artist, just study their brush strokes and try to redraw them from my mind, not exactly copy them, but let me thinking I would draw like them XD

See, I always look at the tutorials and try it yet it never works lol. I'm just really bad at anatomy. Even when I try to draw riders on my ponies, never comes out well lol.

I'll try what you're saying. And see if it helps me. But seriously I think I just have to keep trying. Thats what I'm not so good at. LOL

I think it took be about some years to reach the skills which I have now...
my first attempets looks awful but I also try to draw somehow in my own style and not realistic. In this case it doesn't matter if your anatomy is perfect or not. and you can decide yourself how realistic your style should be and if you want to include more realistic details in your own style, just look up for anatomy and try to study the parts you want to improove ;D I do the same xDD

Your stuff is amazing but <3 Seriously, I aspire to your art ^^

I love artist who have their own style but still manage to some how keep it realistic. It just looks so pretty. Shading skills also let me down. I do everything in greyscale because I don't really understand colours that well.

I haven't even noticed any mistakes, you prob speak better english than me and its my home language lol ^^

looool my teacher always said to me my english is so horrible that nobody will ever understand me xDD I think dA and tumblr improve my skills DD

I shade also a lot in greyscale or better say in bluescale, somehow I always use blue instead of grey xD but only because I'm to lazy to use colors ^^' and now I switch more on a sketch style so I think a kind of greyscale mix is better than a complet colorful shading. I like to experimenting a lot and in the last time I have enough courage to experiment with different styles insteat of painting and discovering realistic shading with colors XDD I think I won't get how it really works until I go to university or an art college but I still have 2 years to be at school -.-' I also try to cell shade but it really doesn't work like I want -.- I even can't draw clear lines xDDD I suck on making things clear and proper xD

Well, tell you're teacher that I think they where wrong lol ^^ and yeah, using dA and tumblr would improve your english. ^^

ahahhaa I never thought to use another colour or than grey tbh lol But then again i'm not very imaginative lol. I can't use colour because it never looks that great but I only ever really draw horses and trying to get the coat color right is so hard.
See, I'm scared to experiment but I guess thats what art is all about. You'll never manage to get your own style otherwise.
Ahhh This is my last year at school and i've been accpeted into Art School next year. I'm so exicted about it ^^
I really want to learn cell shading but it looks so hard to get right. :c Don't worry my lines ect are always not very clear either lol

actually you can always correct your coat color with the color balance if you work in PS, but I think other programms have it too ^^
actually cell shading isn't really hard, it depends on how detailed you want to make it. but my biggest problem are the clear outlines xDDD
grrrr i'm so jealous >____< I want to go to an art school tooo ((( I really don't need my fucking school, I hate it so much, I hate really everythinggggg, but for studying I need class A level -.-'''all the things I do now in school, I will never need in my life again. also all the shit we do in maths right now. NEVERRR. fortunately, I have advanced lessons in art, but our topics are always so dump and it's not necessery to draw good, you just have to be creative. We don't learn how to draw, we can even draw some lines , but we just have to interpretet it rightly. really, I hate it xD

Yeah... With the hue/saturation thingi lol When I paint in colour, that never seems to fix my problem. It normally just makes it a whole lot worse
My problem with cell shading seems to be getting the colours right. I never seem to like it when its just an overlay of black. Then I try other colours and it just doesn't look right. And yeah... Clear outlines are such a pain. You're lucky if you get anything other than sketchy lines from me lol
Aww, I'm sure you'll get in ... If they let me in then you kinda have to get in to an art school.
I understand where you're coming from with the school thing. I hate school to. In all A classes and I hate it. Maths. There is like no point of it. I will never use all the equations and stuff :c
And yes... Thats what its like in my art class to. As long as you have a long winded story behind your painting then you'll get an amazing mark. You don't have to draw well... :c
