Heaps of different sizes! I'm looking forward to seeing more of them, and learning how they live and interact. ^^ Are they like dogs, who are the same species but come in different sizes, breeds and appearances, or are they each regarded as separate species?

Hopefully we get to see them all but some of the outlying races may never end up showing their faces!
They're kind of like dogs in that respect, but it's nearly impossible for them to interbreed. They're more like lions and tigers - they can breed but they produce infertile young that's a weird mix of both the species. They're also close enough to be called races of one species, but at the same time different enough to be different species under a banner like "big cats", you know? I just refer to them as races, in the end. Makes it simpler. xD

Alright, so the Wyverns lie in some kind of nether region, between being a full-blown species and just being several species in the same animal family? I guess infertile hybrids might perhaps be a rare thing anyway, with the Wyverns living in different regions that may or may not overlap (well, you would know if they do or not), size differences, etc. I can't imagine a Tundra Wyvern and Night Wyvern getting it on, for instance. xD
I also just noticed in the picture that maybe different Wyverns 'walk' differently, is that right? Like, the Sea Wyvern and Night Wyvern seem to be posed on two back legs (bipedal) with the wings being held up in the air, while others like the Forest Wyvern seems to use the wings as another pair of legs.

Ah sorry, we're out of brain bleach atm! But here, try this new formula, it's ... oh wait no, it's the same stuff that turned you into a blue cat in our RP last year. :/
Ok, so the limbs/wings of each Wyvern have adjusted over millennia to suit each different environment. Makes sense, when you consider each different ecological niche that they occupy, and the comparisons with animals that share the same habitat (as you talked about with the Sea Wyvern compared with Penguins etc).
