And the path was as the sky, filled with stars that glowed in a sea of dark reflection As I walked the rain fell up into my inverted mind. Thoughts cracked like the path I danced. A tight-rope in space, the world spins as I glide along in a dream. Fall with the rain and flow with itβs rushing course, while with the winds my umbrella blew, keeping me steady and pulling me away. . Oh, how I wish I could walk like this everydayβ¦
The world is cold and clean in a perfect mirror.

It was a puzzle to shot it as I've imagined it too ^^
Glad you like it, thank you.

This one seemed, at first, to be to "quick" to comment on, but I kept coming back to it, and now I see it's one of your best. (I also couldn't X it off my watch list because your signature looks like a nice gift ribbon in the corner...)
The black octagon shows the silhouette of the 8 gua of the I Ching, which implicitly suggests all of the elements in balance, but particularly of the YIN/YANG forces. This one is characteristic of your other binary pieces, but much richer:
UMBRELLA = UMBR (shadow) = ELLA (Cinderella) [Heremtically, the word actually comes from shadow and God(El).]
In this case, it's stopping the rain (from ABOVE), but there's a puddle of water (BELOW).
You're looking DOWN, but the view is UP.
The puddle is WET/SOFT, the pavement is ROCK(somewhat dry)/HARD.
Title is HIGH wire, image is LOW wire (a reflection, too).
The wires are BLACK, the signature, also a "wire," is WHITE, (almost) connected to that bit of black "thread" in the bottom right corner.
A HIGH WIRE act is dangerous -- Look in the water at the jaggy image of the stick figure falling of the LOW wire!
Amazing how these things happen "just like that"!

The trigger is always a moment.
Sometimes the idea needs to be developed, and it takes time.
But the moment it was born is all that matters.
Some 'binaries' were intended for this, and you found them all. Thank you.

This morning, right after you wrote me a message, I left, to walk along my daughter on her way to school. And during this time walking under light rain, this photograph was born. Just like that.
Thank you ^^
btw... I accidentally posted the same message twice on your profile. Sorry. It was a bug..on my finger -_-'...
