Wow, I can't believe I actually got this done.Anyway, its for the 100 Themes challenge, number 20 - Fortitude. I planned on doing a picture of Zoey for this, since Fortitude is the Barbarian's best Save, but it took me a while to both formulate and execute this idea. It was so worth it.
I know the perspective is kinda wonky in some places, but I have never done a picture with this many figures in it, so I'm really proud. And in case anyone's confused, Zoey HATES Goblins with a burning fiery passion deep within her soul. A band of them kidnapped and tortured her a bit for fun when she was a child (which is how she got the scar on her nose), so she's despised the whole race of them ever since. Thus, she looks happy here because she's about to slaughter many of them. Ah, low-level baddies. How easy they are to squish.
And just so's you know, I have been tempted to name each single Goblin in the pic....but I'm too lazy

Wow, this is really well done! And i like the orcs, too (goblins? orcs? same thing?). This one looks ... full ... in a good way. Full of color (even though it's not bright colour, but there's a lot of it, which makes it look full of good, you know what i mean?).
Hehe, very good depiction of fortitude! She can take'em!!
Ok, i read it now: goblins. Hehe. But yah, they all look great with their weapons and stuff. I can see her pulling a Matrix "Agent Smith" fight from here, hehe. Very very good!

Hehehehe, thanks. And yes, goblins. It had to be goblins because she hates them so much. I'm glad you like it. It took FOREVER to do, but I think it was worth it. Even if the perspective is kinda wonky and her left arm looks too short to me now

Hm, i didn't find anything wrong with the perspective, myself. And i think that's an appropriate length of her arm - at least the pose, hehe. I do see now that it's a little short ... i think it's mainly just the hand that's short, if that can happen, haha.
But it is a very very nice detailed piece that i can see took a lot of time and effort!

Ah the goblin-hating gnome on an island continent RULED by goblins! Now that sucks! Zoey's been handling it quite well though. And it's so much fun to deal out pain and suffering to the kind that have done likewise to you.

Oh yes, it has been torture for her, which is pretty much why she spends her free time in only two places - the Inn she likes, and the fighting tournament arena. But even though she's full of rage, she does understand that it would be a very bad thing if she went on a Goblin slsughtering rampage here. Its kinda like how she had to leave the Alchemist's Guild after that thing with the Dwarf.

Hopefully, if all goes well in the next session we can begin building a place for us all to retreat from the chaos of things that are going on around us. Our own home, built to our tastes.*grin*
