Description There were all sorts of nasty things in comics when they first came out, so in order to keep parents happy, a bunch of rules were put in place to determine what could and couldn't be said and shown in comics.Β
As time went by the rules became less restrictive, new boundaries were pushed, and comics became a more serious medium for mature readers. The rules still remained, but it didn't stop the deaths of Spider-Man's girlfriend Gwen Stacy and Batman's second sidekick Robin from being killed, both indirectly and directly, by the Green Goblin and the Joker.
Or at least, the story went something like that.
i really like how the Green Goblin turned out in this, I might do some more art of him in the future (along with everything else). This was drawn on the iPad app Sketch Club.
These piece can be bought on t-shirts, both female and male, as well as hoodies AND even on a throw cushion at redbubble.com/people/rabiddog008
All characters belong to rightful owners, drawn in the art style of the comics "The Night Gwen Stacy Died" and "A Death in the Family" by me. A big thank you to all favourites in advance, it's really appreciated.

Meant to be a comparative parallel.

This is amazing artwork, the only thing that annoys me is the logo is in the dap center which annoys me but otherwise great work

'All these rules and you think it'll save them.' A college worthy thesis paper could be started off with those words being a focal point, which is another way of saying...a very good choice if I may say so.

Comic book code aside, it is interesting how that among other things is yet something else that gives one more similiarity with Parker and Wayne...depending on continuity, though regardless...they each have a 'great failure' and in many cases, more than one, usually not for lack of trying.

How this is presented including the two of them side to side, each holding the remains of a person they cared about, along with the overall style(s) makes it to me at least, hammers several points home. It's very well done.

I hadn't even realized the parallel... but its true... man, these two have more in common than I'd ever thought.Β  And yet still wound up becoming very different people.

I may be a horrible person, but this is the sort of reaction I was looking for with this image
And thank you, I'm looking into trying more pics in this old school style.
