A screengrab from one of the all time great TGtoons, Warners "I Got Plenty of Mutton" a 1944 Looney Tune that must have slipped by the censors because it was wartime.As you may have guessed from the club, the sexy sheep above is not what 'she' seems to be and is actually a male wolf in a female costume.
Watch this cartoon and you'll see one of the sexiest toon females ever put onscreen, with a walk cycle that rivals Tex Avery's 'Red Hot Riding Hood'.
Don't even get me started on the ending.
Wish I could link you to where you can see this toon but the only one I found was a silent version on YouTube.

Watch it again and be amazed at how sexy they could make a character look in a 1944 cartoon.
Plus an ending they could likely never do today without controversy.

You could do a college paper on some of the psychological twists of this short.
If you check out the face of the wolf when he first starts getting kissed by the ram and realizes his female disguise puts him in charge, he is in ecstasy!

It's been more than a decade I haven't see this one.

I didn't noticed the wolf's ecstasy. However, I noticed the ram spoke in French (lol, I'm French myself, he said "mon chΓ©ri" instead of "ma chΓ©rie" XD) and I laughed my ass off at the ending. Did it even pass the radar ?

Romantic Frenchmen were a big thing in Hollywood at the time.
A lot of the rams actions were later borrowed for Pepe LePew (someone told me in France Pepe is dubbed with an Italian accent.)
If you get a chance sometime watch the wolf's facial reactions while disguised as the sheep. Really outrageous and would not even be noticeable when the film would be shown.
Plus when he emerges from the safe and holds the fake sheep it looks like the Ram grabs the sheep's breasts.

Yeah it's a classic.
I have it on DVD and have been amazed at the expressions that you can see only in slow mo. When the ram keeps appearing and grabs the disguised wolf in a romantic embrace he shows surprise and fear. Its priceless.

I have it on DVD and the wolf has some priceless expressions when the ram grabs him.
And I doubt you could get away with that ending any other time.

Little extra bit, when the ram is holding the disguised wolf after escaping from the safe, I SWEAR the ram's hand slips inside the top of the "ewe's" sarong. Which produces a very worried looks from the wolf.

As I said looking at it in slo-mo the expressions on the wolf are hilarious.When he loses the mask early on, when the ram pulls him into the big cannon (how Freudian can ya get)when he lifts him up after he comes out of the safe, its pure fear. Lots of fun to watch.
