Okay, tell me I'm not the only one who was reminded of FMA when it was revealed that Zelda dies and possesses a suit of armor in Spirit Tracks. Seriously.That aside, now that I have a DS I'm interested in getting the new game, 'cause y'know, it's the first canon Zelda game where Zelda is a playable character. Also, trains. I'm a little iffy about the control scheme, but I'm willing to put up with it should I get the game around Christmas (or whenever I get my next paycheck).

Am I dumb for not making this connection??
I mean, I hadn't watched FMA at all back when I was playing Spirit Tracks (that I ended up giving to my cousin because I couldn't beat it...who I believe ended up selling it. I was a MASSIVE fool...). But I should have been able to make the connection by now!!

XDDD While I've never played Spirit Tracks, I HAVE seen all of FMA: Brotherhood, and when I learned of Spirit Tracks and read about it, the first thing that came to mind was one of my favorite anime: FMA.

Even though I'm not a fan of "Full Metal Alchemist," I did manage to see a similarity when Zelda becomes the "Tin Man."

You know, it's only in the Tower of Spirits she is an Phantom, and she can also leave the armor whenever she wants :3

I felt the same way too. FMA isn't the only anime they're ripping. The other new Zelda supposedly has the human form of the master sword. That seems like it's ripping off Soul Eater, at least to me.

It still looks like it, if it isn't imitating Soul Eater, than it would to Bleach. I guess we won't find out until the game is released.
