That is incredibly amazing. Admittedly I've never really watched the show, but I always found the Eva designs oddly fascinating.

Yeah I know what you mean. I never particularly enjoyed the show as much as some fans, but it definitely had some of the coolest mech designs of its time

how did you do this? all you're sketches are in blue. do you use a computer program? (im a pencil and paper kinda guy and ive no knowledge of art programs at all)

I sketched it on photoshop with a tablet, and I was using a blue brush. I probably couldn't have done this with pencil and paper... it's a bit too complicated for me to draw without being able to tweek proportions, re-adjust the position of the limbs, experiement with stuff on the image. Also there's the all important ctrl+z, i.e. undo

Oh man! Way nice! So for the line art are you going to scan it and color it? Oh, and I like the violet pencil. Nice touch.

Actually it's all drawn on the comp with a tablet ^^ I will colour it, but probably not with the line art. I might try a different style
